The current owner, who has owned the shop for 20 years, explains that the original location was across the street and that they moved three-and-a-half years ago. A full service florist, at 3112 Commodore Plaza open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the shop handles everything from weddings to funerals to parties and more. The majority of the work is in custom arrangements. Everything is done for the individual person. Whether it's for a last minute gift, a friend in the hospital or something more formal in nature, she and her staff can help customers find just the right thing. Besides an impressive variety of fresh-cut flowers, either grown locally or flown in from other parts of the world, the store also carries silk flowers, plush toys, decorative or utilitarian vases, gourmet food items like truffles and other gift items. All are of high quality, something the Coconut Grove Flower Shop considers important. We have customers from Brickell on south to Key Biscayne, Cocoplum and the rest of the Grove, Coral Gabels and other areas. They appreciate a good, old-fashioned flower shop.
